Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has been appointed as the Director General of ILM Institute for Islamic Studies.
Dr. Shaheem founded the Ilm Institute to address the lack of excellent education in the fields of Islamic knowledge. Additionally, he will oversee the institute’s initiative to train 100 “khafiz”, a special Quran memorization project along with many other courses.
Ilm institute’s primary goal is to provide reputable programs in the Maldives with an emphasis on Islamic fields of knowledge.
They would concentrate on Quranic studies, Hadith sciences, Islamic law, Islamic theology, Islamic values, and other related fields.
One of the Institute’s key strategic aims is facilitating access to the overwhelming majority of Islamic Knowledge for Maldivian students who choose to pursue higher education.
